appearance
Members of the Nosferatu Clan universally go through a painful deformation of their original body when they go through the process of being Embraced as vampires; what those changes are are not predictable or uniform.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES
HAIR: White-blonde; blunt bangs. Occasionally she dyes the bottom or streaks it, but it doesn't last long.

EYES:

L: white/clouded over the pupil, "dead". | R: light grey

SKIN: Extremely pale with noticable dark veining especially around the eyes and mouth. Mottled with darker spots and various kinds of scarring.

FANGS: Her fangs are (appropriately for a Nos AND a "Mouse") the front two incisors, with shorter fanged precanines. Her canines are pointy, but within human range.

STYLE: Eye-catching and cute: she blends 80s, pastel-goth and nerd-comfy, breaking up dark colors with pastels or neons, multiple patterns, and graphics. Loves big accessories and bright eyeshadow; tends not to hide her less-"normal" attributes.

PROPORTIONS: "Extreme" is a good way to put it. The transformation stretched and pinched: Mouse has very deepset, shadowed eyes and a small, long chin, but extended, wide cheekbones, lending her a skullish, sharp look.

This is true of the rest of her as well: she has a waspish waist to hip ratio, an upturned, delicate nose but wide/out-turned ears; long hands and thin wrists.

She's relatively short, but her limbs are a little longer for her height than her torso is and she can (and does) like to curl up, crouch, perch, or otherwise make herself even smaller.

OOC
BACKTAGGING: I'm probably the one backtagging!
Go right ahead, I'll tag things forever. If I owe a tag just poke me.
THREADJACKING: Ask first if it's not a network/somewhere else public and expected, but the answer will usually be yes, as long as everyone else is okay with it.
FOURTHWALLING: I mean...she's an OC? But they can know about V:tM/WoD. The canon itself is pretty meta, and Mouse will talk eagerly about multiverses. OOC LIMITS: ...increasingly nothing, tbh, though warnings always appreciated so I can prepare. Oh:
  • burrowing/parasitic insects, dfsljd
  • Will not play-by-play sexual assault
  • Very sensitive to seizure-related death (hypoxia/head trauma/drowning/SUDEP etc) scenes
IC
FLIRTING: Go for it! She's often a bit flirty in a lighthearted way. She may or may not believe you're serious.
TOUCH: Yes; she'll probably be a little tense at first, but depending on context, warms up (metaphorically) fast.
HUGS: Yep! Same as touching. She will sometimes initiate hugs and cuddles when she's comfortable around someone. KISSING: Has never had a first kiss that Actually Counted, so this one'll take some time. Kissing, capital K, on the other hand...(actually, she'd be surprised by someone being actively into that...but substantially less nervous about doing it.)
SEX: ⚠️ Mouse is a-spec and a CSA survivor. She is sex-positive, but let's talk this out first.
FIGHTING: While her strengths lie in stealth, research and tuning in to animals, not pummeling, she IS a functionally immortal supernatural creature with fangs and she has killed people. So, go for it, just, good luck.
INJURING: Yes, if it makes sense; obviously don't god-mod it.
TELEPATHY: Ok: she wouldn't have much barrier against this, though she'd be somewhat sensitive to it happening. Give me a heads up and I'll give you some insights or include them in narration.
MIND CONTROL: ⚠️ Similar, but the violation aspect of being compelled could be triggery to her, so please talk to me first so I can figure out how to play it.
DEATH: Unlikely to come up, especially without her hitting torpor first. Uh, don't set her on fire without asking me, I guess?

OPT OUTS / WARNINGS
PLEASE NOTE:
Mouse's tags will almost certainly include any/all of the following:
  • death/undeath
  • blood drinking, hunger for blood (all the vampire stuff)
  • awareness of (and description, possibly) of her physical "abnormalities"
and will possibly mention (unlikely to describe in detail, at least without prior notice):
  • murder, including premeditation and stalking
  • child abuse
  • vaguely implied CSA and/or triggers/dissociation around the topic
  • drug use
  • camming and fetishization of monstrosity/fully taking advantage of it
If you'd like to opt out of any of the topics above, please let me know, comments are screened.

ABILITIES
Mouse also has, besides the base-level advanced speed and strength of a vampire, the particular abilities to blend into the background and move with extreme stealth, call and ask favors of groups of (vertebrate, and except in rare occasions, omnivorous or carnivorous) animals, and have a familiar-esque relationship with one (small) animal at a time, communicating on a somewhat telepathic level.
If she was going to use any of these against another character I would always ask first, but if you have a particular ability (or a particular animal, for instance) that you prefer I never have her use against yours, again please let me know!

And of course, if for any reason you'd rather Mouse never plot or tag with yours you're welcome to tell me here.

OFFENSIVE TOPICS

BY Mouse: above, along with a deeply "meh" response to "happy family" imagery. Will (once she feels reasonably secure) be pretty blase about her ability to hack/otherwise compromise security systems, and also about doxing and feeding on "abusive assholes".

TO Mouse: She's not super easily offended and she tends to give even her own offensive topics some leeway. Things that will piss her off: people trying to insult someone via looks; someone talking about harming children (someone talking about children BEING harmed, if they're obviously against it, will see her get quietly outraged but she won't be offended that it came up). General dismissiveness or bias against people in underprivileged positions (homeless, mentally or physically disabled, impoverished) will not get you on her good side.
